CACustomAcre Report a rate

About CustomAcre

CustomAcre helps farmers and custom operators answer one question: what's a fair rate for this job? We start with the South, where good numbers are hardest to find, and grow from there.

How the data is built

We download each state's most recent custom rate survey from its university extension service or state agriculture department and copy the published statewide rates (average, low and high where given) exactly as printed. We never fill in a missing number. Each page names its survey and links the original PDF.

Two kinds of numbers

Green: university survey. Published by the named university or agency. Amber: farmer-reported. Submitted by users, reviewed before publishing, shown only once 3+ reports exist, and never blended with survey data.

Keep in mind

Survey years differ (2021–2026). Rates aren't adjusted for inflation or fuel. "Range" can mean different things in different reports; see each state's notes.

CustomAcre is independent and not affiliated with any university or agency. Questions or corrections: hello@customacre.com.
